Along the way, she helps her daughter escape years of domestic violence and eventually founds a legal aid center dedicated to protecting the rights of elderly women. From an ordinary widow unfamiliar with legal documents, Eileen grows into a fearless advocate who proves that it is never too late to stand up for yourself—or for others.
