He undertakes numerous secret missions at great risk to promote anti-Japanese cooperation, while his identity is nearly exposed. He is eventually arrested overseas, and a post-credits scene reveals that he is actually an underground revolutionary. The story depicts faith and clandestine struggles against the backdrop of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
