Tall Lei harbors dreams of boxing but faces setbacks in his career. A mysterious person lures his father to give up the family's livelihood, a BBQ shop, using a top-tier club as bait. He almost gives in but decides to protect it after learning about his grandfather's story of reuniting with a war buddy over BBQ flavors and his father's determination. The boxing club owner maliciously sabotages, and a match is set to determine the fate of the BBQ shop. Just when all hope is lost, the female lead brings the war buddy, who has been waiting for his grandfather, the club's hidden boss, turning the tide. In the end, the BBQ shop is saved, Tall Lei signs a contract, and the shop is renamed 'Jinzhou BBQ Hero', where the spirit and dreams of this small town flourish.
