Fingerprint Duet is set in Chicago. Alisa, 32, a former Juilliard pianist, loses her concert career after a car accident damages her right hand; she becomes a street guitarist, playing with her left hand and simple rhythms. Margaret, a retired music teacher, has grieved for three years since her daughter Lily's suicide. Moved by Alisa's music, Margaret leaves a note; they meet, bond over shared loss, and decide to complete Lily's unfinished piece Light. They post healing duet videos as "Fingerprint Duet," touching many depressed souls. They refuse commercial fame, instead opening a free music therapy studio, joined by other wounded musicians. In healing others, they heal themselves: Alisa accepts her disability, Margaret finds peace. Their charity concert at Millennium Park ends with hope. The story shows that music's power lies not in perfection but in perseverance and warmth – imperfect hands can weave eternal light.
