Three years after a mysterious purple fog turns half of humanity into zombies, survivor Jack awakens a powerful Zombie Synthesis System. As Jack hunts zombies, unlocks supernatural abilities, and rescues his former crush Fiona—now a fire-wielding mutant zombie—he becomes caught in the battle for Salix, a survivor city threatened by corrupt rulers and an overwhelming zombie horde.
